Helpful notes

Before we visit.

A few quick answers about maintaining and servicing your piano.

Ask us a question
How often should a piano be tuned?+

For most home pianos, every 6–12 months is a good rhythm. Frequently played, teaching, or performance instruments may need service more often. Southwest Florida humidity and seasonal changes can also affect stability.

What is a pitch raise?+

A pitch raise is a preliminary tuning pass for a piano that is substantially flat. It brings overall string tension closer to standard pitch so the following fine tuning can be more accurate and stable.

Can you fix sticky keys and strange noises?+

Yes. We handle many localized issues including sticky or sluggish keys, minor action problems, pedal adjustments, buzzes, and rattles. We do not offer full rebuilds or major case restoration.

Do you service both upright and grand pianos?+

Yes. We tune and service grands, baby grands, uprights, studios, consoles, and many spinet pianos in homes and professional settings.

Is cleaning included with a tuning?+

Every tuning includes a complimentary surface cleaning. We also offer discounted rates for deeper piano cleanings and savings for returning customers.
