What this service does

When a piano has not been tuned in years, a standard tuning alone may not hold. A pitch raise carefully redistributes tension across thousands of pounds of string pressure before the fine tuning begins.

When it may be the right fit

Recommended when the piano is meaningfully below A440, has recently moved through a climate change, or has gone several years without service.

The bigger picture

Tuning, tone, and touch are different.

A piano can be in tune yet still sound harsh, or have perfect pitch but a sluggish key. We separate pitch, tonal, and mechanical symptoms so the work addresses the actual problem.
